• Develop meaningful service opportunities for our students to serve older adults.
• Potential partnership with nursing homes/assisted living where kids can visit monthly to chat with a senior
• Kids can make cards for these same seniors to keep in touch in between
• Give the senior a small purchased or handmade gift for their birthday
• Interview the senior to share with GGKLI what they have learned from the service
• Pursue other one time opportunities such as vegetarian Thanksgiving meal delivery.

Waiver, Release, Hold Harmless, Photo Release and Indemnity Agreement for Services offered by Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc.

By checking of this box, I, parent of a child whom I am enrolling in Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc. (Bal Sanskar Shala run by Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc.), HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc., a nonprofit organization and its agents, officers, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every kind and nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that I or my CHILD ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to my CHILD’S participation in any of the events or activities conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of, Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc., provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful or wanton misconduct. I have read, understand and fully agree to the terms of this WAIVER AND RELEASE. I understand and confirm that by checking the box this WAIVER AND RELEASE the said CHILD and I have given up considerable future legal rights and signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise or guarantee being communicated to me. My checking of the box is a proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional WAIVER AND RELEASE of all liability to the full extent of the law.

Further, said recording may be published, distributed, or transmitted in any manner by Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc. as well as Gayatri Pariwar of Long Island, Inc.’s agents, successors, licensees, and/or assignees, so long as the use of said material is in compliance with Federal laws.
